 May 28, 2024|View:731

In recent years, the U.S. solar energy market has been undergoing rapid changes. This PV ModuleTech also continues to focus on the supply of photovoltaic modules in the United States in 2025 and beyond; in addition, the bankability and reliability of photovoltaic modules, including hail durability, etc. Related issues are also the primary consideration for many customers when choosing products.

Currently, the shift from PERC to N-type modules has become an irreversible trend in the industry, which also puts forward new requirements for module testing and power station design. At this forum, product engineering experts from Trina Solar North America shared with participants the leadership of Trina Solar's new generation N-type i-TOPCon cell technology and the Supreme N-type series modules developed based on this technology. This series of components covers three sizes: small, medium and large, and can meet customer needs in all aspects and scenarios.

Thanks to technological upgrades, the current Supreme N-type series modules have a maximum power of 720W and an efficiency of 23.2%. The Supreme N-type 720W series modules have demonstrated excellent "kWh cost star" capabilities under different latitudes, climate environments and irradiance conditions, and their kWh cost and system cost advantages have been authoritatively verified many times. In terms of product reliability, Trina Solar's Extreme N-type 625W series modules and Extreme N-type 720W series modules have passed the RETC 45mm diameter hail 30.7m/s speed impact test. This is more stringent and reliable than the IEC test standard. The performance test fully demonstrated the ultra-high reliability of Trina Solar’s Supreme N-type series modules.

Since its establishment 27 years ago, Trina Solar, as a leader in industry technology, has been recognized by many world-renowned independent institutions. It has been rated as "Overall Highest Achiever" by RETC for 4 consecutive years and PVEL "TOP Performer" for 9 consecutive years. Best Component Manufacturer.

With the successful rollout of monocrystalline silicon rods, silicon wafers, batteries, modules and other products from the company's Qinghai base and Vietnam base, the company's N-type integrated industrial layout has accelerated. As of the end of 2023, Trina Solar has a silicon wafer production capacity of 55GW, a cell production capacity of 75GW and a module production capacity of 95GW, of which 6.5GW is overseas integrated production capacity. In order to meet the growing demand for advanced products from global customers, Trina Solar will continue to strengthen the construction of advanced production capacity and provide more competitive products to end users. It is expected that by the end of 2024, the company's silicon wafer, cell, and module production capacity will reach 60GW, 105GW, and 120GW respectively, further increasing the proportion of advanced production capacity.

As a global leader in solar energy storage smart energy solutions, Trina Solar will continue to fulfill its mission of "using solar energy to benefit all mankind", serve global customers with advanced technology, diversified supply chains, and integrated layout, and lead the development of the industry. Contribute to promoting energy transition and global sustainable development.trina solar panels
