The first extremely arid environment + photovoltaic sand control in China!
Recently, the first national-level photovoltaic sand control demonstration power station project in China under extremely arid environment, the 300 MW project of Huaneng Second Division (200 MW of 33rd Regiment) photovoltaic project undertaken by Shanghai Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. of China Power Construction, was successfully connected to the grid for power generation.
The project is located in Korla City, Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, with an installed capacity of 200 MW and an area of 409.72 hectares. Grass grid construction is one of the important environmental protection measures of the project. Through the laying of grass grids, it can effectively prevent wind and sand erosion, protect the foundation of photovoltaic equipment, increase vegetation coverage in the project area, and improve the overall ecological environment quality.
After the project is put into operation, the annual power generation will be 590 million kWh, which can save about 192,000 tons of standard coal, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 590,000 tons, and achieve an area of 10,000 mu of sand control and sand fixation.
In order to ensure the smooth completion of the project grid connection, the construction team of the power construction team has compiled heatstroke prevention and special sandstorm weather construction plans and control measures for the severe working environment in the desert areas of Xinjiang, and promoted the performance of the project with high quality and efficiency.
The project is based on abundant solar and thermal resources and makes use of Gobi and desert areas to vigorously develop large-scale centralized photovoltaic power generation projects, which has brought a stable supply of green energy to the local area, effectively promoted the improvement of the ecological environment and sustainable development, and vividly implemented the concept of green development.trina solar panels
