Photovoltaic module anti-dumping case avoids final ruling!
On March 19, 2024, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2024/9, stating that it had made a final ruling on the anti-circumvention case for photovoltaic (PV) modules originating from China.
The ruling determined that Chinese products involved in the case were being exported to Turkey through Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Croatia, and Jordan to evade anti-dumping duties.
Therefore, it was decided that the anti-dumping duties established in the final ruling of the sunset review of this case (see Turkey’s Announcement No. 2023/26) would be applied to the products involved from these five countries.
An anti-dumping duty of USD 25 per square meter was imposed on the products from Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Croatia, and Jordan. The products involved include PV cell modules and solar panels, covering products under Turkish tariff number 8541.43.00.00.00. The announcement will take effect seven days after its publication.trina solar panels
